The classic character Madam Satan’s re-introduction to our modern horror comics began in 2014’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina!
Jughead the Hunger Vs. Vampironica
Jinx Holliday’s father is Satan himself, while that revelation came to light in 2023’s Jinx: A Cursed Life, the insinuation that her father might not be your average dad actually started in 2019’s Jughead the Hunger Vs. Vampironica miniseries. This is also where we see for the first time here that Jinx has access to a library with evil books.
Madam Satan and Madam Satan: Hell on Earth
This 2020 one-shot documented Madam Satan's first solo journey, breaking her out from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and establishes her backstory that's followed throughout her various one-shots, leading to 2023’s Hell on Earth, which is where we pick up from in The Cursed Library Part 1: Alpha.
Chilling Adventures in Sorcery and Return of Chilling Adventures in Sorcery
These 2021 and 2022 anthology one-shots continued Madam Satan's journey through Hell and back to Greendale, establishing a few horror scenarios featuring a few Archie characters that will pop up throughout the Cursed Library event.
Jinx: Grim Fairy Tales
This the first introduction to Jinx's gruesome fairytales from the library… and many of them featuring stories with Riverdale and nearby townsfolk that Jinx knows!
Jinx: A Cursed Life
This 2023 one-shot explores Jinx’s life, establishing her and Danni's friendship, and Jinx's wrought relationship with her father, who—yes, it’s true—is Satan himself.
Strange Science
One of the most talked-about Archie Comics of 2023, Strange Science presents Danni Malloy's backstory and an examination of her and Jinx's friendship.
